Inspired By The Lens

For as long as I can remember I have had some sort of camera in my hand. Each year in school I took photos of all my friends for my scrapbook. Every family get together or holiday. My Daddy would take us to all types of events like Monster Jam, the circus, concerts, plays, ballet, etc. I was able to capture all of those wonderful memories with him and the rest of my family. I was always responsible for capturing that one portrait everyone else hated. The dreaded entire family portrait when we all were together. Lots of moaning and groaning went on anytime Grandmother would say, "Time for a family portrait!" I was always happy to do them because I know the images will live on far past our time here on earth.

I have always believed we must love what we do in life. Anyone can have a career, but to have a career you enjoy where the rewards far surpass the work is priceless. While photography is the career I have chosen, it never truly seems like a job. I enjoy meeting new people, learning all I can about them, and then providing them with the BEST service I possibly can. Each and every time I am entrusted to capture someone's once in a lifetime memories I consider it a true honor to be chosen!

I would never be so bold as to say I'm the best of the best. What I do say is that I learn something new every single day. I have grown so much in the last several years. I am determined to learn/grow even more. Isn't that what life is all about, continual education? There isn't one person anywhere who knows absolutely everything. We all work together and grow together. The world keeps spinning around, days turn to night, and so on and so forth.

"Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present." - Bil Keane

We lose so many things through the years. As we age our memories begin to fade. Photographs are a way to freeze all of life's most precious images in time. Meant to last a lifetime and beyond photographs make up our entire history.

For all your yesterday's, today's, and tomorrow's Jenni P Photography wants to be your lifetime photographer.
